In the wild, brands reach us through words and visuals, impressions and memories, function and feeling. Our approach begins with understanding the nature of these connections, and crafting a brand narrative and creative tools that harness their power. The goal is to ensure that when each connection is made, it strikes a chord that engages your audience the right way, right from the start.

Using a tested process of observation, collaboration, and iteration, we identify the goals of your brand and the best way to craft a brand narrative and design around those needs. Here are 4 elemental phases:

  • We begin with a brief branding survey to help us establish the goals and vision for the project. Next, we conduct a collaborative brand workshop which includes a set of branding exercises to help us formulate the narrative and voice of your brand, envision design direction, and chart competition and differentiators.

  • With the survey and workshop results in-hand, we prepare a custom brand strategy that identifies your brand’s positioning, values, pillars, and voice. In addition, we include an exploration of identity style and aesthetic – type, color, layout, and vibe – using precedent imagery and other visual inspiration to guide identity design.

  • Based on the completed strategy and positioning work, identity concepts are designed and presented, with realistic mockups to provide intuitive context for evaluating the best solutions. These mockups also help us understand the right brand tools and touchpoints for your audience.

  • The last phase in the branding process involves developing tailored content and collateral that matches your brand’s needs, ensuring an impactful connection, and driving your business forward.
